Black Bean Steamed Oysters

  • 12 large raw oysters on the half shell
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons black bean sauce
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 or 2 green onions, thinly sliced


Place oysters in a steamer basket. Combine beans, water and oil in a small bowl. Place steamer over wok or large with simmering water; cover. Steam for about 3 minutes or until oysters are just cooked. Top with green onion. Makes 12.
